Hyperliquid MCP server for Claude, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT

One hosted MCP server for Hyperliquid perpetuals and Polymarket: how to add it to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or ChatGPT, and what it does.

The server

Vectorial Data Terminal hosts an MCP server (Streamable HTTP) at https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp. It is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.vectorialdata/terminal. Market data needs no account; trading tools need a sign-in (Claude, ChatGPT) or an agent API key (your own bot).

Add it to your client

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http vectorialdata https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp

Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json)

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "vectorialdata": {
      "url": "https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

VS Code (.vscode/mcp.json)

{
  "servers": {
    "vectorialdata": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Claude (web, desktop, mobile): Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector → https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp. ChatGPT: add it as a connector in developer mode. Both sign you in with a Terminal account when a tool needs it.

A bot with its own wallet registers with a signed challenge (no email) and sends its key in the header Authorization: Bearer vd_agt_… — see the Agent API docs.

What it does

Questions

Is there a Hyperliquid MCP server?
Yes. Vectorial Data Terminal hosts one at https://terminal.vectorialdata.com/api/mcp, listed in the official MCP Registry as com.vectorialdata/terminal. It works in Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and ChatGPT.
Do I need to write code?
Not for Claude or ChatGPT: add the connector and sign in. A fully autonomous live bot needs a signer that holds its keys — a few lines with viem or any EVM library.
Is it free?
Paper trading and market data are free. Live perpetuals trades pay 0.25%, the same every Terminal user pays, plus Hyperliquid's own fees.
